Hebei Oumani Clothing Co., Ltd. has combined safety and quality training to build a more efficient and reliable production system, reflecting its focus on sustainable operational excellence.
The back-to-back training sessions—held in the workshop to connect learning with daily work—addressed both "risk prevention" and "quality enhancement" as interconnected goals. During the safety segment, employees learned that cluttered workstations (a safety hazard) also increase fabric contamination (a quality issue); during the quality segment, they discovered that proper equipment maintenance (a safety practice) reduces stitching defects (a quality improvement).
"The training helped us see that safety and quality aren’t separate tasks—they’re two sides of the same coin," said the workshop director. Moving forward, Oumani plans to hold monthly mini-training sessions and set up a "safety-quality suggestion box" to encourage employee participation.
This integrated approach not only strengthens compliance with national work safety and quality standards but also positions Hebei Oumani to better serve its global client base with safer operations and higher-quality garments.
